May Art Challenges List | Composition Tips | How to paint foliage | Books I recommend (2) | Interactive sketchbook idea | & MORE
Heeey
I’m a bit late, but my April was really busy. This month, I’ve got some book recommendations, interactive sketchbook inspirations, and even more digital painting tips from Fungzau.
I’ve also been a bit more into watercolor recently, so there’s no many digital paintings to show. But, if you’re interested, go check out my mini-sketchbook watercolor paintings I did for the #PleinAirpril challenge on TikTok!
Also, a quick recommendation: Recently I started using Xiaohongshu (RED / Red Note). It’s a Chinese social app, something like a mix of Pinterest, Amazon, and Instagram. Though I can’t post there yet (idk, I can’t insert my phone number on mobile, if you know how to deal with it, let me known down in the comments or reply to this email plizzzz). Anyway, it’s a great source of inspiration - something different form what’s you probably used to on TikTok and Instagram.
